About Me
The Designer
My name is Jason Yourell. I am a Graphic Designer from Dublin with experience in many areas of design:
Finished / Studio Artist – Taking elements from multiple sources, such as clients, image libraries, creative Graphic Designers or Art Directors, then outputting finished files for print, digital or social media.
Animation – Using a combination of design software like Photoshop Illustrator, Animate and After Effects. I have created custom animations for social media, TV, and even a wedding in the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield!
Signage design – photo superimposition of proposed signage, vector artwork creation for sign manufacture, vinyl cutting etc.
Design for print – creation of artwork for both digital, and process printing. Flyers, brochures, posters etc.
The Artist
I love art, I always have. My dad started teaching me to draw and paint at the age of four and I never stopped. Over the last few years I decided to paint some of the key areas of Dublin. They went viral on reddit and facebook and now I paint commissioned pieces in my spare time.
The Person
When I’m not designing or painting, I love reading. Anything to do with either fantasy/sci-fi, philosophy or ancient history. I have a subscription to audible and I enjoy going for a walks with my pup Ruby and listening to audio books.
I also really enjoy archery and have been practicing it for over fifteen years. I was part of the Irish National Archery team in 2012 training for the London Olympic games.
